Dunellen, NJ, Fire Department has placed into service a 2016 E-One eMax model 1500-gpm rescue-pumper.

Dunellen, NJ, Fire Department has placed into service a 2016 E-One eMax model 1500-gpm rescue-pumper. This unit has a Cummins ISL9 model 450-hp engine, Waterous single-stage pump, 750-gallon UPF Poly-Tank III, recessed front suction and a front discharge for a "front jump line." There is a six-occupant cab with two storage compartments. The aluminum cab also has a transverse compartment. The stainless steel body has roll-up compartment doors, roll-out tool trays, ladder storage in a hose bed compartment and back-up camera. In addition, there is a Will-Burt Night-Scan 15-foot light tower with four Whelen 450 Pioneer PFP2 model lights, four speed lay hose beds, a telescoping remote controlled monitor, a Harrison 6,000-watt generator and LED warning and compartment lighting.
