In Little Egg Harbor, NJ, the Mystic Island Fire Company has received a 2016 Pierce Velocity pumper-tanker. It has a Hale Q MAX-200, 2,000-gpm single-stage pomp and 2,860-gallon polypropylene water tank. It also has a Husky Foam System 12 with Class A, single-agent, Hercules CAF system and 30-gallon Class A foam cell. The apparatus is powered by a Detroit Diesel 13 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission.
It's also equiped with a six-occupant cab and chassis, a 19-inch extended front bumper with hose tray and a front discharge. It has three speedlay beds and two rear discharge gates as well as a 10-inch rear dump. It has a hosebed filled with 200-feet of 2.5-inch hose, 1,500 feet of 5-inch hose and an additional 200 feet of 1.75-inch hose.
