The Mifflinburg Hose Company No. 1, Union County, PA, recently took delivery of a 2016 Sutphen pumper/tanker with a 2,000-gpm pump and a 3,000-gallon tank. It is built on a Sutphen cab and chassis and powered by a Cummins ISX 500-hp engine and Allison Gen 5 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 2,000-gpm pump and a UPF 3,000-gallon tank. Other equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioning system, slide-out tool trays, LED compartment lighting, saws fans, tarps and forcible entry tools. It also has Amdor roll-up doors, a front-bumper discharge, and Voyager 3 camera system. Other equipment include Fire Research Corp Spectra LED scene lights, a Zico swing down ladder arm with a hard sleeve tunnel, Whelen warning lights and Federal signal Q2B mechanical siren.
