    Tallman, NY, Fire Dept. Accepts Delivery of Custom Pumper

    The Tallman, NY, Fire Department accepted delivery of a 2017 Seagrave 2,000-gpm pumper with 1000-gallon water tank and 30-gallon B foam cell built by Seagrave.

    The Tallman, NY, Fire Department accepted delivery of a 2017 Seagrave 2,000 gpm pumper with 1000-gallon water tank and 30-gallon B foam cell built by Seagrave. It has a Cummins 500-hp engine and an Allison transmission. The pump is a Waterous CSU model C20 E and a UPF water tank. There is a booster reel on the driver's side and reel of 1-inch forestry hose on the officer's side, above the pump. In addition, there is a front-end pre-connect 1 3/4-inch hose line and 5-inch front suction hose.  A hydraulic rack contains ground ladders and hard suction hose.  There is also a Harrison 12 kW generator and all LED lighting, including compartment strip lights.
