A look at some recent fire apparatus deliveries around the country.  

Pierce built this mid-mount 100-foot tower ladder for Bennington, NE, Fire & Rescue on the Ascendent chassis. With an overall length of 43’ 7.75”, the rig has a 2,000-gpm Waterous pump, a 300-gallon tank and is powered by a 525-hp Detroit Diesel DD13 engine. Click here for more.

The Orono, ME, Fire Department took delivery of this pumper built by E-ONE on the Cyclone chassis with a 100-inch wide cab. It is equipped with a 1,030-gallon R water tank, E-ONE 1,250-gpm pump, and is powered by an Cummins L9 450-hp engine. Click here for more.

Sutphen built this 100-foot mid-mount aerial ladder on the Monarch heavy-duty chassis with an overall length of 44' 2" for the Opelika, AL, Fire Department. The rig is a Hale Q-Max 2,000-gpm single-stage pump, 450-gallon tank, seven discharges and the aerial is equipped with a Task Force Tips Y5-E11A-L Typhoon electric with M-ERP-1500 nozzle. This Type 5 wildland unit was bult by Skeeter Brush Trucks for Palmyra Fire District #2 in Baldwin City, KS. The rescue side aluminum body is mounted on a Ford F550 4×4 chassis and is equipped with a Hale HPX200-KBD diesel pump, 400-gallon water tank, Akron bumper-mounted forestry monitor and a 200-foot booster reel made by Hannay. Click here for more.

The Coyne Center, IL, Fire Protection District took delivery of this custom pumper built by Alexis Fire Equipment. The stainless steel body is equipped with a 1,500-gpm pump, 1,000-gallon tank and has Whelen emergency lights. Click here for more.
