Apparatus - Alexandria Truck 204
Alexandria’s newest ladder truck, Truck 204, will be assigned to Station 204 on Powhattan Street and will be placed in service in the first quarter of 2013.
The unit is a 2012 SpartanERV 100-foot tractor-drawn aerial with a Gladiator EMFD Cab and a stainless steel body. The rig is powered by a 525hp Cummins engine and a 4000 series Allison transmission.
Features include a 15kw Harrison Hydraulic generator, Whelen Pioneer Plus 12-volt scene lighting, a Safety Vision Drive Cam and a SetCom wireless intercom. The unit carries 224 feet of ground ladders.
