Apparatus - Showcase: 3,000-Gallon Tanker Protects Florence, Mont.

The Florence (Mont.) Volunteer Fire Department recently placed in service a 3,000-gallon tanker built by Deep South Fire Trucks, in Mississippi, on a Kenworth cab and chassis. Florence is in western Montana 20 miles south of Missoula. Florence volunteers provide fire service to about 6,000 people in a fire district that covers 65 square miles.
