Bay City Texas Has New Rescue Truck

The Bay City Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a heavy rescue truck, built by SVI on a Spartan cab and chassis.

The unit is powered by a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission. It features a 20-foot aluminum body with rooftop storage accessible by a rear stairwell.

It features OnScene cargo slides for the pullout trays, a Hypres Equipment SCBA filling station, an Onan generator, and two Command Light scene lighting towers, one KL series 3,000-watt unit and a second 8,000-watt tower.
