THE NEEDHAM, MA, FIRE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of a KME 79-foot AerialCat rear-mount ladder built on a KME Predator MFD chassis powered by a 450-hp Cummins ISL engine. Components include a 2,000-gpm Hale Qmax 200 pump, 300-gallon UPF poly tank, Fire Research INControl pressure governor, KME Store Front Blitz, six-kilowatt Smart Power generator and Federal Signal camera system.

Features include a 500-hp Cummins ISX 11.9 engine, Allison GEN IV 4000EVS transmission, 3,000-gpm Hale 8FG pump, 1,000-gallon foam tank, 5,000-gpm Williams monitor, National Foam Servo Command 300 foam system, 10-kilowatt Onan generator, 3,000-watt Command Light light tower and Whelen LED warning lights.
