The Nicholson Area Fire Department has taken delivery of an HME, Ahrens-Fox MiniEvo engine. It's built on a Ford F-550 cab and chassis and is powered by a Powerstroke engine mated to a TorqShift transmission.

To fight fire, it has a Hale pump, 400-gallons of water, HME Hydra Technology, and a FoamLogix 2.1 foam system with a 17-gallon Class A tank. The body is constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel bolted together. The hose bed height is 44 inches, it has two crosslays at the pump panel, adjustable aluminum shelving, a pull-out tray package and Whelen LED lights.
