Apparatus - New Pumper Pulls Into Proctor, Vermont
The Proctor (Vermont) Fire Department has placed a new E-ONE rescue pumper in service. The new 34-foot long engine seats six firefighters and is powered by a 450-hp engine.
To fight fire, it has a 1,500-gpm pump, 1,000-gallons of water and a 30-gallon foam tank. It also has a front-mount suction, a light tower and cameras on the left, right and rear of the apparatus. It replaces a 1993 E-ONE pumper.
Proctor Fire Department was founded in 1898 and has 23 volunteers and one junior firefighter. It has three engines, a tanker and a Ranger ATV in service.
Proctor VT Fire Department has their new 2014 E-One Engine delivered on Saturday June 28. The new Engine is Typhoon class, 34 feet long, seats six Firefighters, carries 1000 gallons of water and 30 gallons of foam. The new Engine # 1 is equipped with a 450hp engine, front mount suction, light tower and left right and rear cameras.
The new Engine # 1 replaces a 1993 E-One 31 feet long, 750 Gallons of water and a 350 hp engine.
