Ottawa, Canada, Fire Services has put into service Hazardous Materials Response Unit built by Emergency Vehicles, Inc., (EVI) on a Spartan ERV cab and chassis. The custom designed apparatus features a Spartan Gladiator long four-door cab with 24-inch raised roof cab and is powered by a Cummins 450HP ISX12 engine and Allison 400EVS transmission. The apparatus command system includes a full computer electronic rack with multiple screens at the command desk, secure interior storage compartments, and 360-degree security cameras.
