The Borough of Clayton Volunteer Fire Company, Gloucester County, N.J. recently took delivery of a 2016 E-ONE Typhoon E-Max rescue-engine equipped with a 4-door, 8-seat climate controlled cab with Bostrom seats. It's powered by a Cummins ISL 450 hp diesel engine and an Allison 3000EVP automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Darley PSM1500 single-stage pump and a UPF Poly Tank III 780 gallon water tank. It's also equipped with a Kussmaul Auto-Eject charging system, LED compartment lights, Stokes rescue basket, Will-Burt Night Scan light tower, R.O.M. roll-up doors, Slide Master slide out tool trays, Hurst extrication tools, Eagle Air Sidewinder four-bottle 6,000 psi cascade system, Coffin compartments, Hurst air bags, LED warning lights, twin-front brow lights, a Federal Q2B mechanical siren, a Federal E2 electronic siren, Roto-Ray warning light, front suction and discharge, four Hannay reels, two hydraulic, one air and one electric. It was sold by Ron Elmo, 1st Choice Fire Apparatus, Hanover, Pa.
