Friendship Volunteer Fire Company, in the Village of Geigertown, Union Township, Berks County, PA, have taken delivery of a 2016 Marion Body Works pumper. It's built on a Spartan cab and chassis, equipped with a 4-door, 6-seat, climate-controlled cab, raised roof, full-height rear doors, and Bostrom firefighter seats. It is powered by a 450 hp Cummins Diesel engine and an Allison EVS3000 automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX-XS-150-23X single stage pump, 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, Hypro Foam Pro, and a Class 1 Total Pressure Governor. It is also equipped with a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioning system, slide-out tool trays, LED compartment lighting, saws, fans, tarps, forcible entry tools, R.O.M. roll-up doors, rear camera, swing out tool board, Hannay electric reel, Whelen LED warning lights, front brow light, Federal Q2B mechanical siren, and front discharge.
