Firefighters with Camden-Wyoming Volunteer Fire Department, Kent County, DE, have taken delivery of a 2016 Pierce Velocity Mega-PUC squad. It is built on a four-door six-seat climate-controlled cab with a raised roof and full height rear doors. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 450-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire it has a Pierce PUC 1,500 gpm single-stage pump, a Trident Air Prime, and a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank. Other equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject, LED compartment lighting, Will-Burt Night Scan light tower, cribbing, slide-out tool trays, Junk Yard Dog struts, Paratech air bags, Holmatro rescue tools, ladder tunnel, coffin style compartments, four-way winch receivers, swing-out tool board, Hannay electric reel, saws, fans, tarps, forcible entry tools, high rise pack, front discharge, Federal Q2B mechanical siren & E-2 electronic siren, front brow light and a Roto-Ray.
