Pleasant Plains Volunteer Fire Company, Toms River Township, Ocean County, NJ, has taken delivery of a 2016 Marion Body Works pumper built on a Spartan cab and chassis. It has a four-door, six-occupant, climate-controlled cab, raised roof, full height rear doors, and Bostrom firefighter seats. It is powered by a 500 hp Cummins ISX engine and an Allison 4000EVS automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX200-23L 2,000 gpm single-stage pump, a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank with a 40-gallon foam tank. It's also equipped with an FRC InControl 400 pressure governor, top-mounted pump panel, TFT Crossfire deluge gun, Kussmaul auto-eject, LED compartment lighting, and slide-out tool trays. Other equipment includes a Will-Burt Night Scan light tower, two Hannay electric reels, Hurst combi-tool, rear 1-inch booster hose reel, rear facing camera, ladder tunnel, Speedy Dry hopper, Little Giant ladder, saws, fans, tarps and forcible entry tools. It also has a Federal Q2B mechanical and E-2 electronic sirens, front suction, twin front Pioneer LED brow lights, and LED warning lights. It was sold through Continental Fire Equipment and the salesman was Joe Palumbo.
