Myrtle Beach, S.C. Fire Truck Collides With Deer

Oct. 08--MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- A Myrtle Beach fire truck was slightly damaged when it ran into a deer while responding to an alarm call in the north end of Myrtle Beach Saturday morning. Battalion Chief Bruce Arnel said no firefighters were injured and the truck was able to complete the response. The deer died in the crash, Arnel said. The driver will face no discipline since it was an accident, Arnel said.
