Fire Truck, Motorcycle Collide in S.C.; 1 Hurt

Oct. 05--ROCK HILL -- Traffic is slow along Cherry Road near I-77 after a motorcycle and fire truck crashed as the truck was responding to a call, emergency officials say. The truck was responding to a call about 2 p.m. near the intersection of Cherry and Riverview roads when the two collided. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Piedmont Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, said Lance Cpl. Billy Elder. There were no other injuries reported.

The truck was responding to a call about 2 p.m. near the intersection of Cherry and Riverview roads when the two collided.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Piedmont Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, said Lance Cpl. Billy Elder. There were no other injuries reported.

It is now known yet if any charges will be filed in the incident.
