Parked Va. Fire Truck Rear-Ended by Elderly Man

An 87-year-old man has been charged with reckless driving after rear-ending a Chesterfield fire truck Wednesday night, according to WTVR.Crews were responding to a medical emergency on I-95 at approximately 9:30 p.m. when the man's vehicle struck the truck that was parked on the shoulder of the Willis Road exit.No firefighters were on the truck at the time of the crash.The man was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and was charged by Virginia State Police with reckless driving.
