PA Firefighter Injured after Fall out of Apparatus

A Pennsylvania firefighter was injured after falling out of an apparatus while responding to a call early Saturday.

Reliance Fire Company crews were responding to a house blaze in Philipsburg, joining other departments on the call, WJAC-TV reports. As the apparatus was making a turn, an unlatched door opened and the firefighter fell out onto the road, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The firefighter was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, WJAC added. Details about the nature of his injuries and their seriousness were not released.
