Chicago Fire Department Purchases 120 Emergency Vehicles from Wheeled Coach, E-ONE
The Chicago Fire Department has chosen E-ONE and Wheeled Coach to provide 120 new vehicles for over $100 million, placing one of the biggest emergency apparatus orders in North America.
The order, made through Fire Service, Inc., includes:
- 42 E-ONE pumpers
- 38 E-ONE aerial ladder trucks
- 40 Wheeled Coach ambulances
Chicago's ongoing emphasis on firefighter safety, fleet modernization and dependable emergency response for its citizens and guests is reflected in the investment.

The Terex Specialty Vehicles segment's E-ONE and Wheeled Coach will provide equipment built for robustness, cutting-edge safety features and improved operating performance in fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical response.
