Pierce Manufacturing's Halfway Through 2026 Road Rally

Pierce Manufacturing's 2026 Road Rally is halfway through its multi-month tour, visiting fire departments across the United States.

Pierce Manufacturing stated that the 2026 Road Rally, which will provide fire departments across North America with opportunities for direct involvement, educational experiences and hands-on fire apparatus demonstrations, has reached the halfway mark of its multi-month tour.

Since its launch in late April, the Road Rally has made 20 stops in Illinois, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi, giving department heads and firefighters the chance to drive, operate, and assess Pierce fire equipment in authentic settings. Each event, which is organized in collaboration with authorized Pierce dealers, is intended to assist departments in investigating equipment combinations and technologies that support the particular operational requirements of their community.

"The response to this year's Road Rally has been outstanding," said Marty Bass, president of Pierce Manufacturing. "We've welcomed both longtime Pierce customers and departments experiencing our apparatus for the first time. The opportunity to get behind the wheel, operate aerial devices and engage directly with our team creates meaningful conversations that help departments evaluate solutions while providing us with valuable customer feedback."

Attendees have seen a variety of equipment throughout the tour, such as the Enforcer Ascendant 100-ft. Heavy-Duty Aerial Tower, Enforcer Ascendant 107-ft. Heavy-Duty Aerial Ladder, Enforcer Top Mount PUC Pumper, Enforcer Heavy-Duty Rescue Pumper and Saber Pumpers.

Attendee feedback has emphasized the featured apparatus's performance and agility. The Enforcer Ascendant 100-ft. has received accolades from firefighters. Heavy-Duty Aerial Tower for its seamless operation and user-friendliness, while others commented on the platform's responsive handling and tight turning radius, highlighting the remarkable agility offered by TAK-4 T3 technology. The Enforcer Top Mount PUC Pumper's visible benefits and the equipment lineup's general drivability were also mentioned by participants.

Bass added, “In several communities, local Pierce customers have enhanced the experience by bringing recently delivered apparatus to display alongside the Road Rally vehicles. These additional displays have provided attendees with firsthand insight into apparatus configurations and technologies currently serving neighboring departments.”

The Road Rally will continue throughout the summer with stops in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. These locations will provide departments with more chances to interact with Pierce specialists and get a firsthand look at cutting-edge fire equipment.
