Smeal Fire Apparatus Awarded New Jersey Contract
The State of New Jersey has awarded Smeal Fire Apparatus Co. a new contract for fire fighter and emergency apparatus. This contract allows all fire departments within the State of New Jersey to purchase apparatus in a more efficient and cost saving manner.
The contract (A85970), effective immediately through March 2019, provides departments across the State of New Jersey an opportunity to purchase from a full complement of apparatus to fit their individual departmental needs.
Smeal’s contract includes custom pumpers, tankers, wildland, aerial ladder platforms at 85’ and 100’, and aerial ladders at 55’, 75’, 105’, and 125’. Smeal is a major contributor in the fire and rescue industry and has thousands of trucks and aerial ladders protecting lives and property throughout North America.
