Ten-8 Fire Equipment, the exclusive Pierce dealer for Florida and Georgia, has opened a new service center conveniently located in Fort Myers, FL.

APPLETON, WI (Oct. 23, 2019) – Pierce Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, announced today that Ten-8 Fire Equipment, the exclusive Pierce dealer for Florida and Georgia, has opened a new service center conveniently located near I-75 at 16130 Lee Road in Fort Myers, Florida. As the company’s fifth service center in the state of Florida, the 11,000 square-foot service center will offer preventive maintenance and major repair work for apparatus, including aerial platforms.

Ten-8 Fire Equipment’s Fort Myers Service Center will provide:

  • Indoor areas to accommodate ladder maintenance, repair, and aerial platform work
  • Preventive maintenance and warranty repairs

  • Pump inspection
  • Technician training
  • Ample storage space for apparatus parts and equipment inventory to be kept on-site for quick repairs

Ten-8 Fire Equipment’s Fort Myers Service Center features three main access doors and four bays, allowing for service to simultaneously be conducted on up to ten trucks. As an added convenience for customers, the new service center is located next door to an Allison, Detroit, and Cummins service center that provides additional fire apparatus warranty support. For fire departments that require onsite maintenance, repair, and parts delivery, Ten-8 Fire Equipment offers a fleet of 15 mobile service units that support the Florida and Georgia regions.
