Centre Region Fire Protection took delivery of this purpose built Traffic Management Unit/Blocker vehicle built by Florian ReApparatus.

The Centre Region Fire Protection in State College, PA, took delivery of this purpose built Traffic Management Unit/Blocker vehicle built by Florian ReApparatus.

The rig is built on the repurposed chassis of a low mileage, 1996 KME Renegade, and is powered by a 300-hp Cummins 6CTA8.3 engine and Allison automatic transmission. 

 Features and specialty traffic safety equipment include:

  • Custom fabricated steel flatbed
  • TrafFix Devices Inc., Scorpion II® Truck-Mounted Attenuator Model C (TL-3)
  • Work Area Protection 48” x 96” Arrowmaster Pro-Line 15 LED light Arrow board
  • Hass Alert HA-5 Digital Alerting Transponder with subscription to Safety Cloud®
  • Retroreflective striping (red/fluorescent yellow green) on rear facing TMA cartridges when stowed and deployed
  • Rear facing camera/DVR system with infra-red lights and a 7” display
  • Custom built protective cab cover to facilitate outdoor storage in winter weather conditions.
