The Siloam Springs, AR, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a 78-foot E-ONE aerial. It's built on an E-ONE Cyclone II cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins ISX 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. It has a 12-inch galvanized and powder-coated double rail frame, and a heavy-duty front bumper with recessed double crosslays. To fight fire, it has a Hale 1,500-gpm pump and a 400-gallon polypropylene tank with a Hale 2.1A FoamLogix foam system with a 20-gallon foam cell. Other equipment includes a Harrison 6,000-watt MCR hydraulic generator with cord reel and Whelen LED warning and scene lights.
