    Scottsdale, AZ, Takes Delivery of New Aerial

    The Scottsdale, AZ, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Ascendant aerial, the first PUC Ascendant in the state.

    The Scottsdale, AZ, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Ascendant aerial, the first PUC Ascendant in the state. Ladder 611, a 107-foot Ascendant heavy-duty ladder, is built on a Velocity chassis and features a Detroit Diesel DD13 505-hp engine, a 1,500-gpm PUC pump with a 400-gallon water tank and 25-gallon foam tank. It also includes a Harrison 10-kW hydraulic generator and a Husky 12 foam system, outrigger cameras and green laser for spotting outriggers.
