Apparatus - Georgetown, Ind., Receives New Aerial

The Georgetown, Ind., Fire Department has taken delivery of a 100-foot straight stick aerial built by Smeal on Spartan cab and chassis with a 500-hp Cummins engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission.

The Georgetown, Ind., Fire Department has taken delivery of a 100-foot straight stick aerial built by Smeal on Spartan cab and chassis with a 500-hp Cummins engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission.

To fight fire, it's also equipped with a Hale 2,250-gpm pump, a FoamPro system and a 300-gallon UPF tank. Other features include Whelen warning and scene lights, Akron scene lights, R.O.M. LED cabinet lighting and a Harrison generator.

It was sold by Shane Scott, Fire Apparatus & Supply Team, Lincoln, Ill.
