Apparatus - Delivery: Holmdel, NJ, Tower Ladder

The 100-foot mid-mount tower ladder on Pierce's Ascendant chassis for Holmdel, includes a pump, tank and extrication equipment.

The Holmdel Township Fire Department in Monmouth County, NJ, has placed this 100-foot mid-mount tower ladder in service. The rig is built on Pierce's Ascendant chassis with TAK-4 suspension.

The cab is outfitted with six 911 seats and has two EMS storage boxes.

Power is provided by a Detroit DD13 engine, Allison 4500EVS transmission and it has a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner.

The body features slide-out tool trays, LED compartment lighting, a rear Gortite shutter with access to the ladder tunnel, Firetech Hi-Viz LED scene lights, a Federal Q2B mechanical siren and E-2 electronic sirens.

Fire suppression includes a single-stage Waterous S100 2,000-gpm pump and a 300-gallon UPF Poly Tank III. The tower ladder bucket is equipped with a Task Force Tips nozzle.
