Ambulance Crew, Patient Hurt in Wreck on Interstate near Ocala, FL

Passing motorists helped extricate the EMS clinicians and the patient from the American Ambulance.

Two EMS personnel and a patient were injured in a crash on I-75 near Ocala Tuesday night.

Motorists helped extricate the two EMS clinicians and their patient from the ambulance that ended up on its side.

They were transported to local hospitals for treatment. No others were injured in the three-vehicle wreck, according to a statement from Ocala Fire Rescue.
