A Chicago Fire Department ambulance was flipped on its side after it collided with a Chicago police cruiser while responding to a fatal shooting late Saturday on the West Side.

Two paramedics and two police officers were injured in the accident, the Chicago Tribune reports. They were taken to the hospital, and their injuries weren't considered life-threatening.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Harrison Street. Both units had been heading to the report of a shooting in the 3400 block of West Flournoy Street in the city's Honan Square neighborhood.

In that incident, a 16-year-old boy had been shot in the head and chest during a party at an apartment building, according to WLS-TV. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.

Two other teens—a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy—also were shot at the party. They both suffered gunshot wounds to the leg, and they were taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, WLS added.
