A Colorado ambulance was heavily damaged in an accident during snowy road conditions Tuesday.
The crash involved a Limon Area Fire Protection District ambulance and is being blamed on a driver who didn't slow down for the emergency vehicle, according to the department. No one was injured in the incident.
"This is what happens when on scene and people don't pay attention," the fire district stated in an online update. "People slow down when you see emergency vehicle's."
Photos posted to the department's Facebook page show the side of the ambulance ripped apart. Debris and other wreckage also can be seen strewn across the roadway from the crash.
