Woman Dies after Exiting CA Ambulance

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a woman who witnesses say jumped out of an ambulance and was hit by another vehicle in Pleasanton on Monday morning.

The woman was being transported to a psychiatric facility in San Leandro when she became agitated and exited the ambulance onto a connector ramp between Interstates 680 and 580.
