MMA-Trained MD Firefighter Thwarts Ambulance Theft

A knife-wielding man who tried to steal an ambulance at a hospital was taken down by a Montgomery County firefighter trained in mixed martial arts.

A knife-wielding man who assaulted a nurse and tried to steal an ambulance in front of a hospital was quickly taken down by a Montgomery County firefighter who trains in mixed martial arts.

"Definitely he got a knuckle sandwich, I'm sure," a Montgomery County fire official told WJZ News of the perpetrator.
