Back-to-back crashes at the same intersection Wednesday morning left a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance and a chief's vehicle damaged.
The first crash happened as the ambulance was transporting a patient to a hospital. Although aerial footage showed the collision, fire department officials didn't immediately admit it involved the transport unit, according to KTLA.
Another ambulance was dispatched to take the patient to the hospital.
A battalion chief's vehicle was hit a short time later at the same location.
