Lightning Sparks Mo. Grass, Structure Fire

Stations 2 and 14 were dispatched to a reported brush fire with a fence involved on Indian Hills Lane at 3:43 p.m.

Tanker 6147 from arrived to find the fire had spread into an adjacent structure and requested a full structure response. 

Firefighters from Tanker 6147 and Duty Chief 600, Mike Creswell utilized the tanker's resources to  hold the structure fire until the engine company arrived.

The fire is believed to have caused by a lightning strike to the power pole between the two structures.
