Apparatus - Crown Point, IN, Fire/Rescue Adds Brush 1571 to its Fleet

The apparatus, built on a Ford F-350 4x4 cab and chassis, features a custom aluminum bed and was designed by members of Crown Point Fire/Rescue.

Crown Point, IN, Fire/Rescue is proud to welcome Brush 1571 to its fleet. The Ford F-350 4x4 chassis and custom aluminum bed were designed by members of Crown Point Fire/Rescue (IN). The chassis has upgraded tire and wheels, a leveling kit, rear suspension air bags and a custom front bumper with an integrated winch system. The skid unit has a Darley pump and 200-gallon water tank. The custom aluminum bed has under-skid unit long-handled tool storage along with cabinets on both sides of the truck and a hose bed with both a dead load and a pre-connected handline. It has a Federal Signal EQ2B Siren and numerous Federal Signal and Whelen emergency and scene lighting options
