Rosenbauer Receives Massive Timberwolf Order from Jamaica

    Rosenbauer America has received an order from the Jamaican Fire Brigade (JFB) for 30 Timberwolf wildland-urban interface rigs mounted on Navistar HV chassis.

    LYONS, SD (April 15, 2020) ‒ Rosenbauer America and their dealer, National Safety Limited, teamed up with the Jamaican Fire Brigade (JFB) to help protect the island with an order of 30 Rosenbauer Timberwolves mounted on Navistar HV chassis.

    The new units will be consistent with the existing JFB standardized fleet of pumpers and will be outfitted with Rosenbauer NH dual pressure water pumps, 1000-gallon water tanks, and Rosenbauer Fix-Mix Foam Systems with 50-gallon on-board foam tanks. The Timberwolves will also be fully equipped with auxiliary equipment, including hydraulic rescue tools, SCBA sets, portable generators, and Rosenbauer Otter portable pumps. Additionally, the order includes a supply of spare parts to be kept in-stock in Jamaica.

    Rosenbauer America has a 20-year relationship with the JFB, and they are honored to be chosen as the provider of these life-saving apparatus for Jamaica. Delivery of the units is scheduled to begin at the end of 2020 and be completed by early 2021.
