Gaithersburg Washington Grove, MD, Vol. Fire Dept. Puts Canteen Truck in Service

Gaithersburg Washington Grove, MD, Vol. Fire Dept. in Montgomery County, has taken delivery of a 2019 canteen truck built by EVI on a Freightliner cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 325-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It has a 25,000-watt generator, two refrigerators, an outside wash sink, dual awnings, crew seating for two with a climate-controlled work area and a 60-gallon fresh water holding tank.
