Strickler Volunteer Fire Department in West Fork, AR, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire quick attack built on a Ford F-550 crew cab and chassis. It is powered by a 288-hp 6.9L V-10 engine and a TorqShift 6-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with a Hale HPX300 pump and a 300-gallon UPF polypropylene tank. Other equipment includes Whelen warning and scene lights, a Kussmaul battery charger and a FoamLogix foam system with an eight-gallon foam cell.
