The Scottsdale, AZ, Fire Department has taken delivery of a foam ARFF unit, built by Pierced  for use at the city's airport. The specialty unit is built on an International 7400 4x4 cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins ISL 350-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It is equipped with a 1,250-gpm pump, with pump and roll capabilities, and a 505-gallon water tank with a 75-gallon foam cell. Other firefighting equipment includes a 500-pound dry chemical system, a Husky 12 foam system, dual agent booster reel, two ground sweep monitors under the front bumper and a bumper turret capable of flowing foam, water and dry chemical at 125 gpm. It also has a 7,500-watt hydraulic generator.
