Jersey City, NJ, Rescue Co. 1 Puts New Walk-In Rescue in Service

Jersey City, NJ, Rescue Co. 1 has been assigned a 2018 Pierce Arrow XT model walk-in rescue. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 13 525-hp and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. The cab has seating for six in the cab and four in the back box with SCBA brackets. The 37-foot 2-inch apparatus has a 10,000-pound portable winch with three receivers, slide-out tool trays, LED compartment and warning lights and an Onan 25,000-watt generator with a 5,000-watt portable Honda generator.
