The White Plains, NY, Fire Department's new 26-foot heavy rescue, built by SVI, features slideout cargo trays for each access, myriad scene lighting and a 25,000-watt generator.

The White Plains, NY, Fire Department took delivery of this 26-foot non-walk-in heavy rescue buity by SVI on a Spartan Gladiator EMFD. The rig carries 42 custom-mounted Paratech struts/kits and has a Carefree Mirage lateral arm patio awning.Scene lighting includes a Knight 2 KL Series light tower, dual Fire Research Spectra LED tripod telescopic lights and Whelen 900 scene lights. Storage is organized using OnScene Solutions’ heavy-duty aluminum cargo slides and the rig carries a Warn 9,000--pound, 12-Volt electric winch.
