Lexington, KY, Fire Department, recently took delivery of an E-ONE stainless steel heavy, walk-in rescue vehicle. It's built on an E-ONE Cyclone cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins iSX 15 550-hp engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. Other equipment includes an Onan 30,000-watt pto single-phase generator with cord reels, a 25-foot 6-inch stainless steel walk-in body with a total seating capacity for seven occupants. it has an interior height of 76-inch with a 40-inch walkway. it has wheel-well storage for 11 SCBA bottles, Whelen warning lights, FireTech LED scene lights a Command Light tower with six Fire Research Spectra light heads, and a Safety Vision backup camera.
