Pierce MFG. has built a heavy rescue, with a 26-foot body, for the Clinton, NJ, First Aid & Rescue Squad. It is built on a Pierce Velocity cab and chassis powered by a Cummins X15 600-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. It is equipped with seating for six occupants and power cab steps and a 274.5-inch wheelbase. It has a 26-inch extended bumper and equipment tray with a full-width cover and two hydraulic tool reels and Holmatro rescue tools. It also has a Will-Burt light tower, an Onan 35,000-watt generator, transverse compartments, slide-out tool trays, tool boards, fender compartments and a breathing air cascade system with six bottles.
