Suffield, CT, Fire Rescue has taken delivery of an E-ONE Quest heavy rescue. It is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. The walk-in rescue also has coffin-style compartments and ladder storage in the center of the walk way accessed by a folding ladder attached to the rear of the apparatus. It also has a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, electronic stablity control, OnSpot tire chains and a Kussmaul battery conditioner.
