The Denver Fire Department has taken delivery of a new walk-in heavy rescue unit from Pierce mounted on a custom Velocity chassis.

This rig features a 500-hp Cummins X12 engine, a TAK-4 independent front suspension, Command Zone electrical system, and a 40kW Onan PTO-driven generator.
