Voorhees Township, NJ,  Fire Department has taken delivery of a pair of 2017 Spartan Metro Star rescue-pumpers. They are built on four-door, six-occupant climate-controlled Spartan Metro Star cabs and chassis. The have raised roofs, full-height rear doors and Bostrom seats. They're powered by Cummins ISL-9 450-hp engines and Allison 3000EVS transmissions.They have Hale DSD150-23L single stage pumps, 500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tanks, Trident Air Primers, Tank Vision Pro indicators and, InControl 400 pressure governors. Other equipment include Kussmaul auto-eject, LED compartment lighting, ROM shutters, Slidemaster tool trays, Stokes rescue baskets, Little Giant ladders, Smart Power 15kW generator, Will-Burt Night Scans, Holmatro rescue tools, Res-Q-Jacks, Warn cable winches with four hitch receivers, EMS gear, AED’s, Whelen Pioneer LED scene lighting, two front bumper Holmatro connections, front suctions & discharges, Federal Q2B mechanical sirens & E2 electronic sirens and LED warning lights.
