The Surprise Fire-Medical Department has taken delivery of a new SVI Fire Trucks rescue pumper.

The Surprise, AZ, Fire-Medical Department has taken delivery of a new SVI Fire Trucks rescue pumper. It is built on a Spartan Gladiator LFD cab and chassis with a 10-inch raised roof. It is powered by a Cummins L9 450 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 1,500-gpm pump and a 500-gallon water tank. Other features include OnScene Solutions LED compartment lights, Whelen warning lights, an Akron deck gun, Command Light Shadow RT LED light tower, a FoamPro 2001 foam proportioning system and a Hannay booster hose reel.
