Manly, IA, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a custom Toyne pumper built on a Spartan cab and chassis.

Manly, IA, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a custom Toyne pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star MFD cab and chassis with a 10-inch raised roof. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU 1,500-gpm pump, a Fire Research Pump Boss pressure governor, a UPF Poly Tank III 1,000-gallon tank and a FoamPro 2001 Class A foam system. Other features include a SmartPower 6,000-watt hydraulic generator, Fire Research Corp. telescoping light, and an Akron Brass monitor.
